Mission Statement

I provide a much needed service of helping a growing generation of retirees understand the Medicare system and their options, through one-on-one meetings or in a seminar capacity.

A NEW START:
Before I started Medicare Made Simple, I knew very little about this complex subject. I thought, “If I was having a difficult time understanding all of this information and the program choices, other people out there, like seniors, must be having an even more difficult time wading through all the plans, choices, details, costs, penalties, and other confusing choices.”

MISSION STATEMENT:
My goal is to help people meet the challenge of understanding the myriad of options and penalties of todays Medicare plans and to educate my clients so they may choose the right plan (for themselves) in a
non-threatening, sharing, and informative person-to-person process.

WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER:
I realized that this complexity represented a huge obstacle to people trying to pick the best plan. I was concerned that there is so much information out there, which is constantly changing, that it surely must be intimidating.  I imagined that people were just throw up their hands in resignation, only to pick the wrong plan.

Like a set of custom fitted clothing, a total Medicare package should fit the person for where they are now, health-wise, and where they think they will be in the future.

Learning about choices, plans, and programs was not easy for me even though I had an extensive background and history in the insurance industry. Basically, Medicare plans are just a different kind of insurance for a slightly different kind of audience.

After acquiring the proper training and licensing, I started Medicare Made Simple and brought my Medicare competencies, communication style, and skills to those who just need a guide …. a person who would take the time and have the patience to make sure they understand what they were picking from.

I make a commission by selling plans, but please keep in mind, I started Medicare Made Simple to help people and have turned away business because a particular plan did not “fit” a client I was trying to help.

So you see, it is very important to take a holistic approach when looking at a client’s overall situation and investigate or consider how a plan is comprised, including the limitations and exclusions. It is important to choose a plan that will fit the clients healthcare needs.
